The Scottish Training Foundation has a commercial department known as Foundation Landscapes, based in the West of Scotland.

Foundation Landscapes carry out ground maintenance and commercial landscaping contracts as well as environmental improvement projects.
The range of tasks include:

Mowing and edging lawns

Maintaining flower and shrub borders

Producing bedding plants from seed and vegetative methods

Planting summer bedding displays
Foundation Landscapes are experienced in various hard and soft landscaping projects, with mono blocking being the most sought after.
Other tasks include:

Creating lawns from seed and turf

Fence construction

Constructing foot paths and driveways
The vision of Scottish Training Foundation with support from North Lanarkshire Key Fund and North Lanarkshire Conservation and Greening Department is to create a better environment for the local community whilst enhancing the natural environment.
